Rahul Dravid, former Indian cricket captain and current NCA chief has been chosen as the head coach of Team India for Sri Lanka tour. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirmed that in the absence of head coach Ravi Shastri, Rahul Dravid will play the role of head coach of Team India for the tour of Sri Lanka. The Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan has to play a series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20s against Sri Lanka. Shastri and other main players of the Indian cricket team are currently on a tour of England. After playing in the World Test Championship final against New Zealand, the team has to play in a series of 5 Test matches against the hosts.
