Pat Cummins allocates his donation to UNICEF Australia’s India COVID-19 Crisis Appeal

Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, who is a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise team in the IPL 2021, said that he has donated $50,000 to UNICEF Australia’s India COVID-19 Crisis Appeal. As India is suffering from a very serious health crisis, the 27-year-old fast bowler had announced a donation to PM-CARES Fund to purchase oxygen supplies for hospitals struggling with growing cases of COVID-19. After Cricket Australia’s (CA) financial support to UNICEF Australia, Cummins seems to have changed his mind. Cummins wrote on his Twitter handle, “Terrific work @CricketAus FYI I ended up allocating my donation to UNICEF Australia’s India COVID-19 Appeal.”
