IPL 2021: New Zealand cricketer Tim Seifert tests COVID-19 positive

New Zealand batsman Tim Seifert has been found infected with the Coronavirus. Now, he will not be returning home with other New Zealand players, support staff and commentators who came to India to participate in the Indian Premier League 2021. Seifert, who represented Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL, was found to be COVID-19 positive in both PCR tests before his departure. He will be visiting Chennai for his treatment, where he will be treated at the same hospital in which former Australian player Michael Hussey is staying after testing positive for COVID-19.
