Three-times IPL Champion Chennai Super Kings have decided to retain senior player and all-rounder Suresh Raina for the next season of the tournament. Suresh Raina had not played in the 2020 season due to personal reasons and had returned to India from UAE. Without Raina, CSK’s performance on the field went downhill and the team could not make it to the playoffs for the first time under the leadership of MS Dhoni. The team management is once again trying to strengthen the team under Dhoni’s captaincy so that the team performs well in 2021 season. The team has released Harbhajan Singh and Shane Watson has retired from the tournament.
