Team India defeated England by 157 runs in the fourth Test match played at The Oval. With this win, the Indian team has also taken an unassailable 2-1 lead in the series. In the second innings, against Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja’s terrific bowling, the entire England team could only score 215 runs. For Team India, Umesh Yadav took the most three wickets, while Bumrah and Jadeja took two wickets each. Earlier, India had scored 466 runs in the second innings with Rohit Sharma’s 127 and Cheteshwar Pujara’s 61 runs. Shardul Thakur scored half-centuries in both the innings and also dismissed three key players for the team. Rohit Sharma was adjudged ‘Man of the Match’.
