Indian Cricket team’s former skipper and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly has turned 48 today. Sourav Ganguly is one of the greatest cricket icons along with Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. The former left-handed opening batsman of the Indian cricket team, was elected as the president of BCCI in 2019. Ganguly is known by various names like ‘Maharaj’, ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’, ‘Prince of Calcutta’ (named by Geoffrey Boycott), ‘God of the Offside‘ and mostly as ‘Dada’. He had played for India in 113 Tests and 311 ODIs and scored 7,213 and 11,363 runs respectively.
