Former Indian cricketer Salil Ankola tests COVID-19 positive

Former pacer and currently the chief selector of Mumbai Ranji and senior team, Salil Ankola, has tested positive for COVID-19 infection. He shared the information through Facebook and his Instagram account. He shared his selfie and wrote, “Bringing in my birthday tomorrow with COVID 19 catching up with me. Unforgettable birthday. It’s scary to go through this but will be needing all your blessings to come through with this. Will be back soon full throttle” Salil Ankola got injured in the year 1989 after starting his career in Cricket. After which, he chose a career in the acting field and made a mark as a star actor of TV. Salil, who has played a Test match and 20 ODIs for India, was made the Chief Selector of Mumbai in December last year.
