England announces 17-player squad for first two Test matches against India

The five-match Test series between India and England is scheduled to start from next month. On Wednesday, the hosts announced their squad for the first two matches. Regular captain Joe Root will lead the team. Ollie Robinson, who was in controversy during the Test series against New Zealand, has returned to the team while injured fast bowler Jofra Archer has not been included. The first Test match will be played in Nottingham from August 4 and the second match will be played in London from 12 to 16 August. The last match of the series will be held in Manchester from 10 to 14 September.
