England Cricket team’s all-rounder Ben Stokes has decided to take a break from all formats of cricket. He has taken this decision to give priority to his mental well-being and to heal the index finger of his left hand. Stokes had fractured his finger during IPL. The England Cricket Board has issued a statement saying that it supports Stokes’ decision completely and the Board will continue to assist him during this period. Ashley Giles, Managing Director of England Men’s Cricket said, “Ben has shown tremendous courage to open up about his feelings and well being.” Meanwhile, Craig Overton will replace Stokes in the squad against the Indian team.
