BCCI suspends partnership with VIVO Mobile for IPL 2020

On Thursday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the suspension of its partnership with Chinese smartphone company VIVO Mobile for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL). The BCCI has confirmed the decision in an official press release. The decision comes after the violent India-China clash, in which 20 Indian Army troopers and unknown count of Chinese soldiers were killed at the Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh. The upcoming Indian Premier League season will start from 19th September and end with final on 10th November in the United Arab Emirates.
