BCCI SGM Meeting: IPL 2021’s remaining matches shifted in UAE

The BCCI has approved the decision to hold the remaining matches of IPL 2021 in the UAE between September-October in the Special General Meeting (SGM) held on Saturday. Prior to this meeting, however, the board had indicated that the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021 could be played in the UAE. The remaining matches of the tournament would be concluded in 3 weeks which will include 10 double-header matches. On May 4, the board had postponed the 14th season of the Indian Premier League indefinitely after several players and staff members were found to be Coronavirus positive in the bio bubble.
