West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar reached Delhi late on Tuesday night amid current political developments in the state after assembly elections. According to Raj Bhavan sources, he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and Home Minister Amit Shah today. He will inform them about the latest law and order situation in West Bengal. Earlier, a delegation of 50 BJP MLAs, led by Leader of Opposition in the Bengal Legislative Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, had met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan on Monday. They had discussed important issues including the ongoing violence in West Bengal, anti-defection law, etc.
