Pashupati Paras Paswan becomes leader of LJP Parliamentary Board

Five rebel MPs of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has removed Chirag Paswan from the post of leader of the party’s parliamentary board. According to media reports, late LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan‘s brother and Chirag’s uncle Pashupati Paras Paswan has been elected as their new leader. The rebel MPs have also refused to accept Chirag as the national president of the party. Pashupati Paras is expected to hold a press conference at 3 PM on Monday to give his statement regarding this. On Sunday, except Chirag, all five of the six LJP MPs wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla demanding separate recognition for their faction.
