Mamata Banerjee, who led the Trinamool Congress party to victory in the assembly elections in West Bengal, will take oath as Chief Minister in the capital Kolkata on 5 May, Wednesday. She is swearing in as the CM of the state for the third time. In the TMC MLAs meeting, Mamata Banerjee was chosen as the leader of the Legislature Party. The swearing-in ceremony will be held in simplicity due to the Coronavirus pandemic. In the West Bengal assembly elections, TMC won 213 out of 292 seats. Voting was held in eight phases in March and April in the state.
