Delhi MCD Bypoll Results: AAP ahead in 4 out of 5 seats

The counting of votes for Sunday’s by-election for five municipal corporation wards of Delhi has begun. According to the information till 9 am, the ruling party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is leading in 4 of the 5 seats of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. While the Congress is leading in 1 seat. The Aam Aadmi Party is ahead in Rohini-C, Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri and Shalimar Bagh whereas Congress is ahead in Chauhan Bangar seat. The seat of Shalimar Bagh (North) is reserved for women, while Trilokpuri and Kalyanpuri seats are reserved for SC category. Elections will be held in all 272 MCD wards in early 2022.
