Congress asks Bihar CM to quit NDA if he can’t protect farmers’ interest

Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala has questioned Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over farm bills. He asked Nitish Kumar to ensure the minimum support price (MSP) in farm bills or to quit the NDA if he cared for farmers and agriculturists. While launching Congress party’s people mobilization programme in Patna against the three legislations passed by the Parliament, Surjewala said, “The Narendra Modi government had resorted to political dishonesty to cheat agriculturists and laborers in the name of farm reforms, which would ultimately enslave farmers to big corporates”.
