LJP’s national executive meeting was held on Tuesday at the residence of parliamentary party leader Pashupati Kumar Paras. In this meeting, it was unanimously decided to remove Chirag Paswan from the post of national president. Suraj Bhan Singh was appointed as the National Working President in his place. Singh has been directed to convene a meeting of the National Council within 5 days. Earlier, five party MPs had elected Pashupati Kumar Paras as their leader and handed over the official election letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday night. On Monday, all the five MPs held a meeting at MP Veena Devi’s Delhi residence and discussed about the future strategy and political alliance.
