By Shyamsundar Datta, Tripura State: The Killa Prize Money Knockout Football Tournament 2020 has started on Tuesday like every year at the initiative of Killa Morning Club in Udaipur Sub-Division of Gomati district in Tripura State. The month-long football tournament was inaugurated by state Agriculture Transport and Tourism Minister Pranjit Singh Roy by lighting a lamp and kicking off at 2pm on Tuesday. Also present at the inaugural function were Ram Pad Jamatia, MLA of Bagma Assembly constituency, Kishore Jamatia, former MD, OTPC DGM Tapas Bhowmik and other prominent personalities of the area. Was. Speaking at the inaugural function, Minister Pranjit Singh Roy said sports, especially football, help keep the body fit and give people great pleasure. He said Killa has been playing football in the state for many years now. The girls have led the state women’s soccer team. She said she will continue to work to improve the fort. The final of the football tournament will be held at night on the fort. She requested the OTPC DGM to help provide adequate lighting for the night.
