Chennai International Airport operations resume with COVID-19 protocols

Tamil Nadu government has allowed the operations of Chennai International Airport amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The operations have been resumed with entry protocols like touchless points and hand hygiene. Airports Authority of India (AAI) has also set up the isolation rooms with emergency facilities on the airport. Chennai International Airport Director Suneel Dutt reported to ANI, “People have become more aware of the measures to contain the virus. We saw that people are following the precautionary measures as soon as they enter the airport.”
