Rahul Gandhi, CDS Rawat attend House defense panel meeting

On Friday, a meeting of parliamentary standing committee on defense was held amid the ongoing India-China Stand-off. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat also attended the meeting. The Congress leader attended this meeting for the first time. Issues such as better food, clothing, and other facilities for soldiers, especially those deployed on the borders were discussed in the meeting. The committee is headed by BJP leader Jual Oram.
