The by-election for the assembly on Tuesday was 71.72 percent polling, which is surprising. The administration and the candidates did not expect so much during the Corona period that the voters would come out of the house to vote this way. Everyone had expected that there would be a very small turnout this time. The 2018 assembly election also saw an increase in turnout, with 71. 29 percent polling in 2018, with Bisahulal Singh of Congress winning by 0.41 percent.
