President Ram Nath Kovind receives first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

President Ram Nath Kovind took the first dose of the corona vaccine on Wednesday at the Army Hospital, Delhi. Earlier, many senior ministers and leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan have received the vaccine against Coronavirus. So far, 56 million people have been vaccinated in the country. On 16 January, the first phase of corona vaccination campaign started in India. The second phase of vaccination started in the country from March 1. In this phase, people above 60 years of age and people above 45 years suffering from serious diseases are getting vaccinated. Covishield from Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin are being used for coronavirus vaccination.
