PM Narendra Modi greets citizens on ‘Hindi Diwas’

14th September is celebrated as Hindi Diwas in India. It is observed on the day of adoption of Hindi as one of the two official languages of India. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to everyone on Hindi Diwas on his Twitter handle. He also lauded the efforts and contributions of linguists in the development of the language. He wrote in Hindi: “Best wishes to everyone on Hindi Diwas. My heartiest congratulations to all the linguists who contributed to the development of Hindi (language) on this occasion”.
