PM Modi’s personal account hacked, Twitter confirms

On Thursday, Twitter has confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s social media handle has been hacked. Although, the social media giant did not specify the details of the hackers or their identity. According to media reports from Reuters, a series of tweets were shared on PM Modi‘s Twitter handle, asking the followers to donate generously to a COVID-19 relief fund through cryptocurrency (bitcoins). Later, the tweets were removed from the social media handle.
