In order to increase the human resource to deal with the ongoing fight against COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken many steps and has approved many decisions on Monday. NEET-PG examination has been postponed for at least four months to reduce shortage of health workers for pandemic duty and a large number of qualified doctors, including medical interns, will be available. Now, this exam will be conducted only after 31 August. In a statement, the PMO said that the final year students of MBBS can also be deployed for COVID duties while medical interns can be prepared for Covid management tasks under the supervision of their faculty.
