Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the second edition of Maritime India Summit-2021 through video conferencing on Tuesday. The summit will help in furthering the development of India’s maritime economy. CEOs and ambassadors of several countries are participating in the summit to promote investment in the maritime sector in India. More than 1 lakh participants from 50 countries have registered online for the MIS Summit 2021, scheduled from March 2 to March 4. PM Modi released the e-book ‘Maritime India Vision 2030’ at the summit. Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan also participated in the event.
