The new strain of coronavirus has been detected in many people who returned to India from UK. So far 90 people have been tested positive with the new strain in the country. After the ban on flights to and from UK was lifted on Friday, the first Air India flight from Britain reached India with passengers. After which the Delhi government made RT-PCR test compulsory at Delhi Airport for all passengers. The government further said that any passengers who are found positive during the test will be kept in a separate institutional isolation facility. Meanwhile in UK, there is a steady increase in cases of the mutant coronavirus.
