India’s COVID-19 case tally crosses 23 lakh-mark with 60,963 fresh cases

India witnessed its biggest spike in daily COVID-19 cases by recording 60,963 positive cases in the last 24 hours. The number of COVID-19 cases in the country has crossed the 23-lakh-mark with 23,29,639 cases. The total COVID-19 deaths have reached 46,091. Out of the total cases, 6,43,948 are active and 16,39,599 patients have been discharged so far. Currently, Maharashtra is the worst-COVID-19 affected state that stands with a total of 535,601 cases. Followed by Tamil Nadu at 308,649, Andhra Pradesh at 244,549, Karnataka at 188,611 and Delhi at 147,391 cases.
