Indian Army launches ‘Operation Namaste’ to fight coronavirus

Indian Army has launched an operation with code name ‘Operation Namaste’ to fight against coronavirus pandemic. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane reported that a total of 8 quarantine centers have been set up in the country to fight coronavirus. The Army Chief further said that the Army had successfully carried out all the operations in the past and will also accomplish the Operation Namaste. Chief General stated that it was the army’s “earnest responsibility” to keep the borders safe while the country was preparing to fight the pandemic.
