India: COVID-19 cases cross 7 lakh-mark with 20,160 deaths

India witnessed 22,252 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 cases has crossed the 7 lakh-mark with 7,19,665 cases. The death toll in the country now stands at 20,160. Among the total cases, 4,39,947 patients have recovered from the disease. Maharashtra still remains the worst-affected state in the country with 2,11,987 cases and 9,206 deaths. Tamil Nadu has recorded 1,14,978 total cases so far. While Delhi and Gujarat have reported 1,00,823 and 36,858 positive cases respectively.
