India: COVID-19 cases cross 5 million-mark with 90,123 new cases

India registered a slight drop in single day cases by registering 90,123 new cases in the last 24 hours. COVID-19 cases in the country have crossed the 50 lakh-mark with 50,20,359 total cases, while the death toll has crossed the 82,000-mark with 82,066 deaths. Out of the total cases, 39,42,360 patients have been discharged so far. Currently, Maharashtra is the worst-COVID-19 affected state with a total of 10,97,856 cases, followed by Andhra Pradesh with 5,83,925, Tamil Nadu with 5,14,208 and Karnataka with 4,75,265 cases.
