India: COVID-19 cases cross 4 million-mark with 86,432 new cases

India recorded the biggest jump in daily cases with 86,432 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has crossed the 40 lakh-mark with 40,23,179 cases. While the COVID-19 death toll stands at 69,561. Out of the total cases, 31,07,223 patients have been discharged so far. Currently,  Maharashtra is the worst-COVID-19 affected state with a total of 8,63,062 cases, followed by Andhra Pradesh with 4,76,506, Tamil Nadu with 4,51,827 and Karnataka with 379,486 cases.
