India: COVID-19 cases cross 4.3 million-mark with 89,706 new cases

India registered a spike of 89,706 new cases in the last 24 hours. COVID-19 cases in the country has crossed the 43 lakh-mark with 43,70,128 cases, while the COVID-19 death toll has reached 73,890. Out of the total cases, 33,98,844 patients have been discharged so far. Currently, Maharashtra is the worst-COVID-19 affected state with a total of 9,43,772 cases, followed by Andhra Pradesh with 5,17,094, Tamil Nadu with 4,74,940, and Karnataka with 4,12,190 cases.
