India: COVID-19 cases close to 3.7 million-mark with 69,921 new cases

India recorded another spike in daily cases with 69,921 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached closer to the 37 lakh-mark with 36,91,167 cases. While the COVID-19 death toll stands at 65,288. Out of the total cases, 28,39,883 patients have been discharged so far. Currently, Maharashtra is the worst-COVID-19 affected state with a total of 7,80,689 cases, followed by Tamil Nadu with 4,22,085, Andhra Pradesh with 4,24,767 and Karnataka with 3,35,928 cases.
