Heavy rainfall to continue in many states of the country, IMD issues alert for next seven days

Heavy rain has affected the daily lives of people in many parts of the country including Delhi-NCR, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Delhi, Central Maharashtra, East MP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Puducherry and Kerala. The situation is expected to remain the same in the coming days as well. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that there will be heavy rainfall in many states during the next week. Therefore, the department has also issued an alert for Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Odisha. Meanwhile, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Konkan, Goa, Gujarat, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha in the next 4-5 days.
