Green Fungus infection (Aspergillosis) case reported for the first time in India

After black, white and yellow fungus, now the infection case of green fungus has surfaced in the country. The 34-year-old patient, found infected with green fungus in Indore’s Aurobindo Hospital, has been airlifted to Mumbai for treatment in Hinduja Hospital. Earlier, the patient was discharged from the hospital after two months of treatment of COVID-19. After 10 days, the patient’s condition started deteriorating again. After which, doctors diagnosed that Aspergillus fungus had infected his lungs and sinuses. According to experts, green fungus is more dangerous than black fungus.
