On Thursday, the Defense Minister of France, Florence Parly will be attending the induction ceremony of the first batch of Rafale Fighter Jets in the Indian Air Force base in Ambala. She will be joining Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. This is the third visit of the French Defense Minister to India since 2017. According to sources, the first batch of 5 Rafales will be a part of IAF’s 17 Squadron alias ‘Golden Arrows’.
