COVID-19: India records 4.5 lakh recoveries, tally crosses 5.6 million-mark

India registered 83,347 new cases in the last 24 hours. The number of COVID-19 cases in the country have crossed the 55 lakh-mark with 56,46,010 total cases, while the death toll has crossed the 90,000-mark with 90,020 deaths. A total of 45,87,613 patients have recovered so far. Currently, Maharashtra is the worst-COVID-19 affected state with a total of 12,42,770 cases, followed by Andhra Pradesh with 6,39,302, Tamil Nadu with 5,52,674, and Karnataka with 5,33,850 cases.
