Amit Shah arrives in Chennai to inaugurate development projects

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Tamil Nadu capital Chennai on Saturday afternoon. Chief Minister E.K. Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and other ministers welcomed him along with the leaders of the Tamil Nadu BJP at the airport. During his visit, HM Shah will lay the foundation stone of several development projects in the state. He is visiting the state after one year. Amit Shah will inaugurate a new water reservoir worth Rs 380 crore during a function at Kalivanar Arangam. He will also lay the foundation stone of Phase-II of Chennai Metro Rail.
