Delhi government has given its permission to prosecute Kanhaiya Kumar, ex-student and Union Leader of JNU in the February, 2016 sedition case. Kanhaiya Kumar was accused of leading and raising anti-national slogans in Jawaharlal Nehru University on the anniversary of the hanging of terrorist Afzal Guru. Upon this, Kanhaiya has urged the police and government officials to take this case in a speedy trial with a fast-track court.
