Today is the 56th day of the protests of the farmers on the borders of Delhi. The 10th round of talks will be held on Wednesday between the central government and farmers over the new agricultural laws. The talks were earlier scheduled to be held on Tuesday, but were postponed. The meeting will be held at Vigyan Bhawan from 2 PM. Since 26 November, farmers have been protesting against the new laws on the Delhi border. There have been nine rounds of talks between the two sides so far, but no conclusion has been reached to end the deadlock. On 12 January, the Supreme Court stayed the implementation of the three agricultural laws and constituted a committee to hold talks. The committee will hold its first meeting with farmers on 21 January.
