With the decline in the number of new positive cases and rise in the rate of recovery, the second wave of coronavirus in India seems to be weakening. In the last 24 hours, 1,52,734 people have tested positive for COVID-19 across the country and 3,128 patients have died during this period. The positivity rate has been below 10% for 10 consecutive days. After the recovery of 2,38,022 people in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries has reached 2,56,92,342 increasing the recovery rate to 91.60%. Along with this, active cases of infection are also decreasing in the country. So far, a total of 2,80,47,534 positive cases and 3,29,100 deaths have been recorded in India.
