WBBSE Class 10th, 12th examinations cancelled: CM Mamata Banerjee

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has canceled class 10th and 12th exams in view of the current situation of COVID-19 in the state, announced Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Earlier, the Chief Minister had said that class 12th examinations can be conducted in the last week of July and secondary i.e. class 10 examinations in the second week of August. Most of the state boards and Central Board CBSE and CISCE, have canceled the 12th examinations and decided to prepare the results of the students on the basis of internal assessment. Meanwhile, COVID-19 caseload reached 14,26,132 in West Bengal on Sunday.
