UPSC Prelims 2021 rescheduled due to surge in COVID-19 cases

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 and Indian Forest Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 which were scheduled jointly on June 27. According to the update released by UPSC today, these exams will now be conducted on 10 October. The Commission has decided to conduct the IAS Prelims 2021 exam in October instead of June in view of the surging COVID-19 cases across the country. Candidates will be selected for a total of 822 posts in various central services through the Civil Services and Forest Examinations of the year 2021.
