Schools in Madhya Pradesh to re-open from July 26

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that classes for class 11th and 12th would be started from July 26, while ensuring strict adherence to COVID-19 appropriate behavior, classes for class 9th and 10th would be started from August 5. All schools will start with 50% attendance. Students will be able to come to school twice a week in the month of July and four days a week in the month of August. It has been reported that the consent of the students’ parents will be necessary for sending students to classes in schools and colleges. The new academic session would start from September 1 in the colleges of the state. Currently, the examinations are being conducted through open book mode.
