SC hearing on petition for cancellation of CBSE, CISCE 12th exam adjourned till Monday

The Supreme Court on Friday adjourned the hearing on the petition seeking cancellation of the Class 12 board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) till Monday, 31 Monday. Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari were hearing the petition that demanded the cancellation of the 12th board exams and the preparation of the result of 12th on the basis of alternative evaluation criteria. As per the petition, the delay in the examinations may affect the students who want to take admission in higher education courses in foreign universities.
