Maharashtra‘s School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced on Thursday that the written examination of class 12th board will be held in the state from April 23 to May 29 and class 10th board examination will be held from April 29 to May 31. Board exams are generally held in the months of February and March, but this time board exams are being held late due to COVID-19 pandemic. In the media briefing, Varsha Gaikwad announced that practical exams for class 12th will be held between April 1 to 22 and for class 10th, it will be held between April 9 to 28. She said that class 12th results will be released at the end of July and the class 10th results will be released at the end of August. Earlier, the government had reduced the syllabus for exams by 25%.
