School Education Minister of Maharashtra, Varsha Gaikwad said that the decision on conducting the postponed Class 12 board examination in the state will be taken within a week. She added that in view of the current situation, the option of “non-examination route” for Maharashtra HSC examination should be explored. Varsha Gaikwad said, “On Monday, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting with the School Education Department and a decision will be taken regarding the 12th board examination within a week.” The Maharashtra government has already canceled the class 10 examination (SSC Exam) due to the pandemic.
