The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the petitions filed against the CBSE and ICSE’s decision to cancel the exams. The apex court upheld the evaluation formula of both the central boards and gave them approval. A special bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari observed that there is no reason to interfere with the evaluation scheme of CBSE and ICSE. The bench also dismissed the petition seeking quashing of the CBSE compartment examination. Dismissing the petition challenging the evaluation scheme of CBSE, the court said that the marking scheme of CBSE is in the interest of the students.
