Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro has planned to use Russian and Chinese COVID-19 vaccine. The President said the vaccines could arrive in the South American nation in December or January. In a live broadcast on state television, President Maduro said, “It has been announced that the completed Russian and Chinese vaccines should arrive by December, January, December-January, and we are going to start vaccination”. He added saying that the older people with existing diseases will first get vaccinated but all Venezuelans would be vaccinated. Venezuela had received the first batch of the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine in early October.
